The role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Interchange Gippsland Promotions Officer to join the Business Operations team in either our Morwell or Wonthaggi Office.

The Interchange Gippsland Promotions Officer will be responsible for the management of digital marketing and community engagement with Interchange Gippsland’s stakeholders and the wider community.  The incumbent is expected to manage Interchange Gippsland’s social media, website and other digital marketing avenues, by applying their experience to digitally represent our organisation.

In conjunction with the Interchange Gippsland Promotions officer role, you will also be responsible for reception duties two days per week which includes; answering phone calls, phone call direction across sites, welcoming messages, taking messages, attending to walk-in stakeholders, participants and families.

 

As the Interchange Gippsland Promotions Officer, you will undertake a range of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Assist with the design and analysis of Interchange Gippsland online content and digital marketing strategies across all program areas
  • Manage multiple social media accounts, plan and implement various Interchange Gippsland marketing campaigns
  • Develop engaging and effective digital marketing content, across a range of platforms including website, newsletters, reports and social media
  • Create new ways to community the different Interchange Gippsland service messages to its target audience
  • Proof-read a range of written documents for publication
  • Manage and carry out updates to the website, social media and intranet as required
  • Develop reports and surveys
  • Plus much more

The details:

The position is being advertised for 3 days a week permanent part-time.

To be considered for this opportunity you must have completed a minimum Certificate III in Communications, Media or a related discipline and demonstrated experience in a related role.  A current driver’s licence is required, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check are mandatory to obtain once successful.

Salary and conditions are as per the SCHADS award and will be based on your qualifications, skills and experience.  As a not-for-profit organisation, attractive salary packaging options are available. This is a permanent ongoing position.
