The role:

We are seeking a highly-skilled manager to support and grow Interchange Gippsland across the Gippsland region.

The Manager of Support Services will be responsible for monitoring, coordinating and developing the performance and delivery of our services across Gippsland. You will provide high level management support and advice to your team, who are located in each of our sites in Morwell, Wonthaggi and Bairnsdale. The person we are seeking will utilise their community connections and partnerships to strengthen participant experience of our services and build our participant base.

You will work collaboratively within the Leadership team in the strategic planning and implementation of services, projects and future growth, including the recruitment and retention of staff. Critical to your success in the role will be your working knowledge of the NDIS and the associated compliance and legislation requirements.  This position covers the Gippsland region.

The position is based in our Bairnsdale and Morwell offices with travel across the region.  There is a requirement for the successful applicant to actively work across our Bairnsdale and Morwell locations.

The following are mandatory for the successful candidate (please see position description for full list):

  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree in a relevant social science, health or human services discipline
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (can be obtained at the end of the selection process)
  • Current Working With Children Check (can be obtained at the end of the selection process)
  • Current drivers licence
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and its practice standards
  • Experience in developing and leading teams
