PROGRAM COORDINATOR (multiple vacancies)
Interchange Gippsland is a community based support service that provides a range of programs for people with a disability and their families. The programs aim to build, enhance and promote the strengths of the individual and family unit.
Due to increased service demand Interchange Gippsland has multiple opportunities for suitably skilled and experienced Program Coordinators who will be responsible for coordinating supports and services for participants with a disability and their families. Program Coordinators will work with small teams of paid Community Access Workers and Volunteers to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
To be considered for this opportunity candidates must possess a degree in a social science, health, human services discipline or similar. Experience in a similar role would be highly desirable.
The roles available are permanent full time and based in both Morwell and Wonthaggi.

COMMUNITY ACCESS WORKER – Casual Positions
The position of Community Access Worker is available working in both community based and home based programs across the Gippsland region. The positions all have varying areas of responsibility, which may include:
- Creating an environment of fun and friendship for participants and volunteers;
- Providing varied activities and opportunities based on the clients individual needs and interest;
- Ensuring the safety and well being of all participants and volunteers;
- Care within the client’s home, the attendant carers home or the community;
- Providing personal care as required

To be considered for this rewarding role you will have a certificate III in a relevant community, social science, recreation or human services.
